As you all know, unfortunately, due to COVID-19, lots of movies that were due to come out this spring and summer have been pushed back to this winter or early next year. I’m here to let you know what to look forward to once we all get back to our normal lives!
- Black Widow
Black Widow, a highly anticipated prequel by Marvel Studios, was originally supposed to be released May 1st. Now, the release date has been pushed back till November 2020. Because of COVID-19, the entire phase 4 of the MCU has been pushed back. Black Widow has taken the place of Eternals, which originally was supposed to come out this November. Now, Eternals is coming out in February of 2021.
- No Time To Die
No Time To Die, the final installment of the James Bond series, was supposed to release April 2020. Now, the opening of the blockbuster has been pushed to November 2020 as well.
- A Quiet Place Part 2
The sequel to this successful horror blockbuster was supposed to be released on March 18th. But, Director John Krasinski took to social media to announce the premiere of the movie would be delayed until September 2020.
- Fast and Furious 9
Many people were looking forward to the ninth installment of the Fast and Furious series. Originally being released to theaters May 22nd, this action blockbuster has been pushed back all the way to April 2021.
This highly anticipated Disney film was set to release on March 27th. Now, the film has been moved to release on July 24th, 2020.
