Celebrating Earth Day

With quarantine in full effect and students going stir-crazy at home, I think everyone could use an opportunity to get outside and appreciate nature on Earth Day! This year, Earth Day falls on Wednesday, April 22nd, and I highly recommend going out and exploring new areas- or enjoying some comforting favorites.

  1. Picnic Point
  2. Ice Age Trail
  3. Governor’s Island
  4. The Arboretum
  5. Tenney Park
  6. Vilas Park
  7. Lakeshore Nature Reserve
  8. Olin Park
  9. Owens Conservation Park
  10. Quarry Ridge Park
  11. Cherokee Ridge- North Unit
  12. Merrill Springs Park
  13. Stewart Lake County Park
  14. Pewits Nest/Devil’s Lake
